As a child, Dr. Slotterback brought home every book on animals that she could find in the school library. Amongst those endless pages, she developed a love and appreciation of animals and knew she wanted to dedicate her life to working with them.
Her path to becoming a veterinarian started at Muhlenberg College where she received a B.S. in Biology. She then completed her veterinary training at The University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a one-year rotating internship at a general and specialty practice in Delaware. Since finishing her training, Dr. Slotterback has been practicing as an emergency and general practice veterinarian in the South Jersey area since 2009.
Dr. Slotterback’s medical interests include dentistry/oral surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. She has completed advanced training in dentistry and oral surgery at the Animal Dental Training Center in Maryland. Her deepest passions are preventative care medicine and partnering with her clients in caring for their pets. Dr. Slotterback lives in Barrington with her husband, daughter, son, and Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix, Peanut. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, traveling, and scrapbooking
