An electrocardiogram (ECG) is an electrical representation of the heart.
Changes in the pattern shown on the monitor indicate changes that are occurring with your pet’s heart. We are easily able to monitor and interpret any abnormalities with our ECG unit. Because of our partnership with Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Mount Laurel, we can also have a board-certified cardiologist interpret subtle or more challenging changes when indicated. Blood pressure evaluation is an important part of routine monitoring for many different diseases. This can be done quickly and easily right at our hospital. We may even have you hold your pet during the procedure to help reduce stress levels, resulting in a more accurate read.
