Senior Pet Exams

Having a senior pet requires a little extra love and care, so along with everything covered in our traditional preventative visits, we will also discuss mobility and cognitive changes, vision and hearing decline, and environmental management.

The golden years (typically starting between 7-10 years of age) are a good time to increase your pet’s visits to the vet from once to twice a year so that we can perform more frequent screenings, ensuring that your pet stays happy and healthy. If your pet has mobility, behavioral, emotional, and/or anxiety concerns, be sure to give us a call ahead of time and we can discuss options prior to your visit. Our goal is simply to facilitate continued preventative care for our senior pets, allowing them to enjoy their wisest years.
