Jacqueline (Jackie) Pieroni grew up in northern New Jersey just outside of New York City. Growing up, she definitely had no idea she’d later become a veterinarian as she had interests in things like choir and softball. However, she knew she loved dogs and science so later in life she entered undergrad (UMass Amherst) as a pre-veterinary major.

Many years later, in 2018, she graduated from the University of Minnesota with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and was inducted into the PZK Vet Honors Society. She moved back east and initially started her career in Emergency & Critical Care. Though she loved the medicine and being surrounded by specialists, she knew emergency wasn’t a longterm sustainable plan.

Since 2021, she has been with Cherry Hill Animal Hospital in a Primary Care position and absolutely loves her “work family,” the clients, and their pets. She enjoys continuing to develop her skills in surgery and dentistry as well as build relationships with her clients/patients in this more fulfilling role.

In her free time, Dr. Pieroni enjoys yoga, meditation, and camping and spending time with her furbabies Mady and Bug.
